2D1N Batam Trip

Saturday, December 3, 2011 (Day 1)

Only slept for 2 hours because the day before I went to fetch my parents from airport,

then reached home very late.

Woke up at 4am, prepared and met Keng Zee and his family at Harbourfont Center at 7am.


Boarding!

His hp never leaves him. Lol.




Went up to the top and enjoyed the scenery!

Soon, his cousins came up to the deck and joined us too.






Arrived!~

The journey took about 20 mins only.




Guess what? There was a long queue at the checkpoint!

Luckily we alighted from the ferry quickily.

Out of the ferry terminal, on the way to board the bus.






We are the first few who boarded the bus.

So while waiting for the rest of the tour group, we started to take some pictures.


After awhile, I fell asleep.

He took a lot of unglam photos and I am not going to post them here. Lol.

Remember the long long queue I mentioned just now?

Yes, maybe some of our tour members were in that long queue.

And some couldn't find our tour guide.

Hence, we waited for more than 1 hour plus or maybe 2 hours.


Alright, enough of complaints.

First stop, the tour guide brought us to buy their famous Kueh Lapis Cake.


Wasn't that interested so we walked around.

Saw a crowd watching some kind of performance.

Next, Go Kart.

We didn't play because he said the speed of the car is too slow.




Therefore, we went to the Batam Miniature House of Indonesia.

Inside of it, there is a mini Zoo (structure of the animals) too.








Followed by Flying Fox and Paintball.

I wanted to play but the weather is too hot, never mind we will play the next time at Sentosa.

*HINT HINT TO SOMEONE*




Finally lunch time!

Having seafood cuisine.


Fish, prawns , chilli crab, gongong, vegetables, fish ball soup with glass noodle, fried calamari.




Soon, it started raining heavily.

It's a good time to sleep especially after the heavy lunch.




Due to the rain, I skipped going to quite a few stops including driedstuff and clothes stores.

Since the rain was getting smaller, this time I decided to alight and visit their 1st Factory Outlet.

Came out within 15 mins, instead the push cart that sold tapioca chips attracted us more.


His mum and his cousins bought a lot of chips.


Last stop before the tour guide brought us to the hotel, its shopping time!

At Batam City Sqaure.


Bought nothing as they sold a lot of fake stuff which I hate the most.

Spent about 1 hour walking around and bought dinner back.

After giving tips to her, we headed back to our room.

Kind of like the room design :




Had our dinner and our tour guide brought us for a massage.

Personally I like the massage much but the only thing I hate is the oil they put on my body.

Back to our room, watched one hour of channel 8 and I took a bath after that.

The both of us were hungry, we ate cup noodles, continued watching our channel 8 and sleep!

Sunday, December 4, 2011 (Day 2)

Was sharing room with Keng Zee and his mum, that explains the extra bed.

Packed and changed.


Had breakfast at their restaurant.










Checked out at 11.30am.

We had some time left, so we headed to Mega Mall.


Back to the Ferry Terminal.


Last photos I took for the day.

Slept throughout the journey back hence no more pictures.


Back to Singapore at abought 3 plus.

Had our dinner at Harbourfront Food Center and went home.

I want to go Bali next (another hint)!
