Genting Trip
At last my short break has arrived!
We left the house at 4am, dad drove to Johor Bahru and we reached at 5am.
Met aunt, granny and off we went to Genting!
Stopped halfway up the mountain for our lunch.
After that we continued our journey till we saw this place.
The Cradle Rock
I requested to stop by a side just to get down and take some pictures.
Even when we haven't reached the top, we can already feel the cold breeze.
Guess how high are we at now?
The road that we have travelled while on our way up :
After 4 hours, finally here we are!
Since the last time we had been to Genting is around 3 years back.
But it is my second time staying at this hotel.
The Hotel Highlands' lobby :
Headed to the mall right after we settled in.
This cooking mama machine caught my attention!
Because I wondered whether this machine exists in Singapore?
Last but not least at the end of the first day, we ended in the casino.
And that is my very first time.
Of course I spent most of my time exploring rather than gambling.
I did try out the slot machine but I realised I am not that interested in these things.
Friday, November 19, 2010 (Day 2)
Went out for a walk as we had seen every part of the First World Mall by now.
The mist is so strong that we could hardly see anything,
I just love the cool weather compared to the scorching sun.
Back to the mall again.
To shop for one more round to make sure I did not miss out anything.
And my granny bought 10 herbal eggs for us.
I bought a dress after shop hopping for a few hours. =D
Wanted to go in to the haunted house as well as the Ripley's Believe it Or not attraction.
But remembering the Halloween Night, I decided it is better for me not to go in. LOL!
Anyway, this werewolf can be super scary at times.
I think there is a sensor somewhere and when u go near it, it will move.
Then, this security guard purposely made it move.
And I got scared by it as my mind was concentrated on taking a nice picture of it.
As the boat passed by, there was some Venice opera music playing which irritated me.
They should have used some other soothing music instead.
Saturday, November 20, 2010 (Day 3)
Two more hours of travelling to Malacca.
As usual, camwhoring and sleeping to kill time.
It's shopping time!
Saw this huge snowman when we walked to the middle of the shopping mall :
Surprisingly this huge snowman is made by recycled bottles.
And my brother asked me to estimate how many were used. -.-"
I bought fake eye lashes and then had Tom Yum fried rice for my lunch.
And I managed to pick out several rice bugs from the rice O.o
As for my parents, they bought a lot of egg tarts.
Left the mall and headed back to Johor Bahru at around 6pm.
Some of the side dishes.
The taste was average to me, I just wanted to take some pictures.
That's all for now.
Wanted to stay longer at my aunt's house but I know I will miss my bed more.
So I decided to come back with my family.
