Marina Bay Sands
Then we took bus from Bugis to my first visit to Marina Bay Sands.
Now finally I get the chance and free time to visit this place!
The interior of the shopping mall.
There are only branded shops that don't really suit me.
That's why I spent most of the time taking pictures rather than shopping.
Beautiful scenery.
However, there was some construction work going on.
It ruined the whole picture.
PASSED BY THE CASINO!!
When I was a kid, I walked past the casino at Genting which makes me very curious about what's inside.
And now, I am finally legalized to go in.
But, $100 per entry for Singaporeans.
Probably next time when I have extra cash, I will come back to take a look!
Caught this golden man and "King of Pop, Elvis Presley" before leaving the shopping mall.
Anyway, I still prefer the night view.
AGREE?
Actually I didn't know that there were fireworks for YOG.
At first I was just capturing the night scenery until I realised that there were many photographers were preparing for something and waiting.
Just as we were wondering, a security guard walked by and informed the crowd that there will be a display of fireworks in 5 minutes time.
The timing was just nice!
Was trying out the firework mode but it failed.
Thus I used the night mode.
Nevermind. Practice makes perfect!
That's the only firework which I captured during that 3 minutes show.
After that we walked back to Bugis.
The Helix Bridge :
The picture of the bridge below looks like it extends to infinity.
Had a bit of difficulty catching the correct angles.
And we walked past the floating stage.
We stopped at the Esplanade as I had a sudden craving for ice-cram.
It's Häagen-Dazs time!
Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Midnight Cookies and Dark Chocolate Orange :
Took photos till I forgot to eat dinner.
And by the time we realised it, it was already 10pm.
In the end, we headed to Geylang for dim sum!
Waited for the food until I wanted to fall asleep.
See my eyebags? How I wish I can laser them away as soon as possible. =x
Last but not least, fried prawn fritters wrapped with potato!
I like the outer skin cover with the crispy potato.
