Ben's Birthday Celebration

This is the surprise that I have been planning since last week.

Thanks Hong Wei for the recommendation for this Japanese restaurant.

Told Ben that I will be the only one who will celebrate his birthday for him,

But he didn't know that I asked quite a number of our close colleagues along too.

Yes, they are the surprise that I was talking about!

Because it has been a long time since we had these gatherings.

Me and Ben looking at the menu while the rest have already ordered.

Random shot by Hong Wei :

Both ladies ordered their Salmon Steak Sets.

And Rene is happily eating her set meal.

While Ben, Hong Wei and I were still waiting for our food.

Drink: Blue Coral and Soda

Food: I ordered the Half Moonlight Okos and Ben's Half Seafoods Okos

Yes, just only the side dish and I can't even finish it.

Rene, Serene and Hong Wei :

What a face!

Cheryl and me :

At last, here comes the cake served by one of the staff.

I guess Ben was totally shocked when he saw it.

By the way, Happy Birthday Ben!

No matter what, he is still the youngest of all!

Small boy. LOL!

So before we ended the celebration, a group photo is a must!

Thanks to one of their friendly staff. =D

Hope everyone enjoy the dinner especially the birthday boy!

Amore

Last friday after work, I went over to City Square Mall.

To sign up for classes at Amore Fitness with Wy.

After the promoter, Cherry, explained for about 1 hour plus,

We decided to try the 1 year package first.

The voucher which Amore gave as a complimentary gift.

So today I woke up at 8.30am to get started on our first trial.

But we missed the Jazz dance and Belly dance.

While we were waiting for another lesson, Stan, the gym instructor, introduced the usage of the machine.

Hopefully the treadmill firmed up my upper thighs. =D

Finally the time passed and the Bollywood Dance began.

I swear that I really really cannot catch up with the steps!

Plus I can't even memorize the steps (totally brain dead).

However, I will give it a last try during their second lesson which is next week.

Next, we attended the Kickboxing class for 1 hour after a short break.

And now my whole muscles started to feel pain especially in the stomach.

Taken inside the changing room.

I brought along my straightener too!

Spent almost 1 hour inside blowing our hair and camwhored after bath.

She was waiting for her dearie James to pick her up.

Last photo before she went off :

I swear that it was super tiring!

I think it has been eternity since we went for jogging which we used to do almost once per week.

Next lesson I want to try is Yoga!

Got to get rid of that irritating belly fat soon! =D

Love Is A Question Mark

Months and months passed like that and I always seem to be so busy.

But something is still missing in my life.

I have already lost the feeling of falling deeply in love.

Love is just like a question mark unless I have met the right one.

So where is this person?
"缘份来了自然就会有"

That's what my mummy told me this morning.

I guess by the time I have found him, I am no longer who I am.

Because the old Wendy is dead.

Gift From Pin Han

Thanks Pin Han for his farewell gift.

Take good care while you are in National Service!

We will meet up soon!

Actually I was quite surprised that he still remembered my favourite colours which were black and pink.

Maybe that explains why my wrapper is different from my other colleagues'?

I love to unwrap presents! =D

This afternoon, he took cab and passed us the gift.

After explaining the instructions, he rushed off immediately.

So I msged him and thanked him for everything.

And I wrote his reply on the board that he gave me.

It is just a normal writing board when the backlight is off.

But doesn't it look pretty when it is on?

Alternatively, it also runs on batteries.

Marina Bay Sands

Did my closing and left the office at 5.15pm.

Then we took bus from Bugis to my first visit to Marina Bay Sands.

Now finally I get the chance and free time to visit this place!

The interior of the shopping mall.

There are only branded shops that don't really suit me.

That's why I spent most of the time taking pictures rather than shopping.

Beautiful scenery.

However, there was some construction work going on.

It ruined the whole picture.

PASSED BY THE CASINO!!

When I was a kid, I walked past the casino at Genting which makes me very curious about what's inside.

And now, I am finally legalized to go in.

But, $100 per entry for Singaporeans.

Probably next time when I have extra cash, I will come back to take a look!

Caught this golden man and "King of Pop, Elvis Presley" before leaving the shopping mall.

Anyway, I still prefer the night view.

AGREE?

Actually I didn't know that there were fireworks for YOG.

At first I was just capturing the night scenery until I realised that there were many photographers were preparing for something and waiting.

Just as we were wondering, a security guard walked by and informed the crowd that there will be a display of fireworks in 5 minutes time.

The timing was just nice!

Was trying out the firework mode but it failed.

Thus I used the night mode.

Nevermind. Practice makes perfect!

That's the only firework which I captured during that 3 minutes show.

After that we walked back to Bugis.

The Helix Bridge :

The picture of the bridge below looks like it extends to infinity.

Had a bit of difficulty catching the correct angles.

And we walked past the floating stage.

We stopped at the Esplanade as I had a sudden craving for ice-cram.

It's Häagen-Dazs time!

Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Midnight Cookies and Dark Chocolate Orange :

Took photos till I forgot to eat dinner.

And by the time we realised it, it was already 10pm.

In the end, we headed to Geylang for dim sum!

Waited for the food until I wanted to fall asleep.

See my eyebags? How I wish I can laser them away as soon as possible. =x

Last but not least, fried prawn fritters wrapped with potato!

I like the outer skin cover with the crispy potato.
