Happy Birthday To Mum & Aunt!

Bought my mum SK-II as her birthday present.

Because I cannot spend the whole day with her as I am working today.

Dinner at a seafood restaurant at Sunset Way with family and relatives.

Happy birthday to my mummy and aunt!

Took this picture while we were waiting for the food :

After that we headed to General Hospital to visit my maternal uncle.

He slipped and fell at his house causing a blood clot in his brain.

The doctor pronounced his brain was dead after a few hours,

when he was sent to the hospital.

I tried my best to hold back my tears when I heard the news.

But I couldn't, same for Wy and Ming.

After all, he is someone who is part of our family.

Jay Chou World Tour Live 2010

Was very excited because it was my first time watching Jay's live concert!

Supposed to meet up with Wy, James, Ming and Gwen at 7.45pm.

But my brother and I were early, thanks to Joshua for sending us there!

The receipt:

It was only 7.30pm and people had already started queueing up,

in which the concert only starts at 8 pm.

Our seats are at the North Entrance.

While waiting for Ming and Gwen.

Finally they reached and it was now 8.05pm.

So, it's time to enter the Stadium!

Me and brother :

This is his second time watching Jay's Concert.

This is the distance between us and the stage :

Zoom up a little :

Actually I always thought that when in the concert,

we will only be able to see the big screen,

might as well buy the DVD and watch it at home.

But now, I have experienced the difference!

整个气氛都好high喔!

The big screen with the lyrics :

By the way, they say that Jay (the picture below) look a bit like Edward.

The video which I recorded :

Song - 跨时代

The concert ended at 11pm.

Supper at Bukit Timah at an Indian shop having prata.

Oh great, tomorrow have to work at 8.30am!

Dad's Birthday Celebration

I know that dad loves buffets, especially International buffets.

So I suggested we try the Vienna International Seafood Restaurant,

to celebrate dad's birthday which falls tomorrow.

The second time I wear a flowery dress:

Booked the seats in advance for 12pm, and luckily we reached at 11.45am.

If not I guess the seats will be FFAed on the dot.

Each of us will get a Buddha Jumps Over The Wall before we start.

Didn't take many pictures of the food as I cannot wait to eat!

Also photography is not allowed inside the restaurant.

I know these photos don't look tempting at all,

but trust me, the food is really tasty.

SUPER LOVE THE ABALONE SALAD AND BLACK PEPPER CRABS!

Dad ate a lot of crayfish, however I found it tasteless.

Chocolate Fondue really goes well with marshmallow!

And I can never get sick of that!

Lastly, had two scoops of green tea ice cream before we went off.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Didn't buy him any present as I guess family time is the most precious.

Had the sudden urge to sing K today.

But parents don't want, so went with my dear brother.

Tried the CSC then found that it was fully booked.

So we ended up going to Chevrons together with Kok Seng,

because he had SAF membership for entry.

We sang from 5pm to 11pm (6hours).

Extended 2 hours for 2 times each.

Because there was a special promotion : Buy 1 hour get 1 hour free!

Joshua joined us for the last 2 hours before we leave.

Well, that's all for today!

Totally enjoyed myself! =D

When Working In Customer Service

You don't have a choice but to hold your temper no matter what.

Because working in Customer Service, the customer is always right.

But sometimes I can't help to show a little bit of attitude.

For example, there was this trainee who lost his safety pass.

So he came to the counter with a police report and requested to make a new one.

Course title: Shipyard Safety Course - Hot Work Trade

And in his police report, stated Safety Pass (HW).

I mean what the hell is "HW"?

Can't they just write the full thing when they are reporting to the police?

I am not angry or what, I just hate it.

*ROLLS MY EYES!*

However, I did highlight to my customer about this issue.

My colleague saw it and she sent me this message,

which made me laugh out loud in front of the customer.

Can't blame me for that right?

Jurong Bird Park

It is a lovely Sunday and I woke up at 8 plus.

Promised to have an outing at Birdpark with Joshua and his mum.

So he came and fetched me us usual.

Love the penguins!

Especially the way they walk, super cute!

Heliconia Walk to see the hornbills.

Royal Ramble - Crowned Pigeon :

Guess what is this?

It has a long neck and powerful legs and can lay the largest egg.

Yup, that's the Ostrich, the largest flightless bird.

This beautiful one is the male and behind of it is the female.

Basically the Magnificent Birds section is something like a bird discovery centre.

This new born chick looks like a real one right?

Next, we had a walk to The African Waterfall Aviary.

Had a little rest and bought some foods at the Refreshments store.

Some African structures:

I love my bob hair!

If my hair was to be cut to this length, the outcome comfirm wouldn't be this good.

Pelican Cove :

Wanted to snap some photos of pink flamingoes.

But failed because the distance was too far.

Had Ben & Jerry's before we left Birdpark.

I ate Sweet Cream & Cookies while he had his Phish Food.

I think his mum had Coffee Buzz.

Always cookies and cream.

But that's not the end of the day yet!

We went to Jurong Point to have dinner at Ding Tai Fung.

His mum ordered so much food that we cannot finish them all.

The xiao long bao was not bad.

As for the fried rice, it isn't that tasty as it looks.

I didn't try their Steamed crab meat and pork dumpling,

as well as Shrimp and pork wonton noodle.

Don't know what this dish called.

By the way, thanks Joshua for buying me this stalk of lovely pinky rose.

Went to church with him and his mum in which the session started at 7pm.

And ended at 8 plus.

Supper time!

Once again, his mum ordered lots of my favourite food.

Kang kong and lotus leaf rice are musts!

Ordered fried rice again but compared to the previous one we had,

I prefer here's.

How can we miss out chilli crab and mantou?

I AM SO SO HAPPY WHENEVER WE TALK ABOUT FOOD!

At last, the long day ended after sending his mum home first.

Thanks for the treat! =)
I calculated how many photos we took at the end of day.

Guess? Guess?

Actually not much, just 200 plus only. LOL!
