Back For More Updates
Yeah! I am back for today's update!
This morning I had only 4 hours of rest before I headed out again.
Been wanting to go for the Science Centre's CSI exhibition, so I asked Pin Xun along.
Yup, together with his friends, Karrie and Marcus.
His car came at around 10.30am and we had breakfast at a coffeeshop near my house.
We bought the 2-in-1 package (Science Centre and CSI: The Experience) at $16 each.
Because Singtel member gets 10% discount (Usual price is $20 each).
Basically, there were 4 different cases in the exhibtion.
However, I was quite disappointed as I expected it to be more fun.
After that, we walked around the Science Centre and left at 3 plus.
Next, headed to AMK, had chicken rice at S-11 Food Courts and KOI before going for our next destination.
Which is Seng Kang! Went there to take a look at Uncle Ringo's Amusement park.
And the theme for this year is 大世界, The Great Great World.
But most of the rides are for little kids.
So we proceeded to our last stop, Lot 1 for a movie!
After 15 mins of discussion of which show to watch, I suggested "127 hours".
It was a true story about how a mountain climber saved himself, after a fallen boulder crashed on his arm and trapped him in an isolated canyon in Utah.
The part when he cut off his arm was gross though he had no choice.
I guess everyone was tired as today we traveled to every corner of Singapore.
Good night and sweet dreams, everyone! =D
A Date With Mr. Andrew & Prawning
Friday, February 18, 2011
I wore my newly bought M)phosis wedges today!
Met up with Mr. Andrew at Yishun then went to City Hall.
New York New York for our lunch.
I think it has been 2 years since we last met!
He is still as crappy as ever.
After the meal, he is..
* GONE! *
Actually he kept asking me to join him for a game of pool.
But I didn't want to, so I quietly sat there and watched him play alone.
I hope he dosen't get mad at me because I really suck at this game.
After that, went to Marina Square to buy movie tickets.
Then to Suntec City for a shop and lastly back to Marina Square again.
Caught "What Women Want" at 6.45pm.
Just after the movie started,
I remembered that Andrew dislikes watching romance shows.
But luckily it is more of a comedy!
And I guess having the ability to listen to womens' thoughts is every guy's wish.
Well, dinner at Thai Express and we went separately after that.
Train to Boon Lay, then took cab to join Ming, Ping Ling and Wei Zhi at Jurong Hill Prawn Fishing.
Anyway, this is my first experience, so thanks to Wei Zhi for teaching me!
It was fun though it really needs a lot of patience.
The guys were bbq-ing the prawns.
In the end, I didn't eat any of them because I am allergic to seafood. =(
Within this 2 hours, I only caught two which I know is quite pathetic.
Left the place at 2 plus and reached home at 3am! Bye!
Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day for all couples and for all the singles, you still have your friends!
Thanks Pinxun, I have really enjoyed this wonderful day.
We were supposed to be having his belated birthday lunch tomorrow, but since today he is on an off day, therefore we brought it forward to today!
So this afternoon, he came and fetched me from home first and off to The Central.
We had our lunch at Waraku.
After that, caught "All's Well Ends Well 2011" at AMK Hub.
I love Donnie 甄子丹!
Cause other than fighting scenes, I seldom see him in comedies/romance shows.
Then caught "No Strings Attached" right after the first show.
Not as good as I expected and the storyline is so similar to other Romance shows.
Headed to Geylang for dim sum at Wen Dou Sek.
Though it is 10 plus, there are still lots of people queuing up for it.
Wanted to go sheesha, however I felt sleepy after the meal and so was he. LOL!
Thus Pinxun sent me back home after that but that's not the end of my day yet!
Kok Seng waited for me and he passed me a Valentine Day's gift.
Thank you for the surprise!
May our friendship last forever. ♥
Although I do not have anyone special in my heart at the moment,
and this is my third year spending it with my friends.
But I am glad to have them because whenever I was unhappy,
they were always by my side and were great listeners.
To have a boyfriend or not, I am not really looking forward to it now. Labels: Valentine's Day
CNY Day 2 ' 11
On the second day, we went back to grandparents house for lunch first.
While waiting for the rest to come.
But after that brother did not join us to granduncle house.
We stayed for around 2 hours, then back to grandparents' house again.
Played big 2 and went back home after our dinner.
These two days have been waking up early, so sleepy. Lights off soon!

Happy Spring Festival
Today is the first day of Chinese New Year,
and we headed to my maternal grandparents' house again.
LOL! Like a small kid.
But he is not! Guess how old is he?
Mum and brother :
I like mum's red blouse which is bought from Red 2.
Was quite lazy to carry my camera around.
Thus, the only few pictures I took were during the first day of CNY.
Anyway, like my new hairstyle?
It is very short, I know but I always liked short hair and I think it is cool.
That's all, ending my post with my favourite picture of the day!
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!
♥ Wishing everyone a great and prosperous year ahead! ♥

The Reunion dinner
Wednesday, February 2, 2011
Last year the reunion dinner was held at my home,
so this year we went over to aunt house together with my maternal grandparents.
After the dinner, all of us were waiting to lao yu sheng!
Also known as "Lo Hei" in Cantonese, it means tossing up good fortune.
Yu Sheng is a Chinese New Year dish which is actually served on the Ren Ri.
It is a salad dish made of thin slices of raw fish, various spices and mixed with tossing actions.
After mixing all the ingredients :
While tossing, we must say all the auspicious word and wishes.
HUAT AH!
Because we need to 守岁 throughout the night,
that's why we sugguested to grandparents' house for a mahjong session!
The usual four players : grandfather, Wy, Xm and my brother.
Of course I am not involved in it (not interested).
Watched Channel 8 shows with the rest of family members till 2am! =D
