Goodbye, Year 2010!

Hello everybody!

The end of 2010 is here and that is very fast indeed.

Well, all I can say is that this year has been such a mess for me.

But glad that I have managed to sort out everything before 2011 starts.


I lost a friend, someone whom I have known for more than 6 years, a person who I used to call him "Da Jie Joshua".

If I had a chance to choose between these two guys:

1) A person who is quite poor though he is a hunk, but he can't afford many gifts. Basically I can't expect anything from him but the most important thing is that I love him a lot.

2) A person who is less than average looking but can give me everything, a comfortable life but being with him, I feel irritated and not happy at all.

In past, my theory is that no money = no happiness.

After being through so much, now I will definitely choose the first one, but it is too late to say anything now.

Luckily I only wasted 6 months of my life to learn this lesson.

At least I burnt my fingers and know the pain now, so I will remind myself not to repeat the mistake again!

So what's my new year resolution for the upcoming year?

- Do not repeat any mistakes that I have made for the past 22 years.

- Do not make any empty promises.
- Although my weight is 38kg now, but I want my 35kg back.
- Be a more responsible lady and cut down my attitude problem.



That's all. This year I am not going to celebrate my new year as there is no point.

Well, it is just another year to struggle with, isn't it?

Had our lunch at Pastamania first before we proceeded to Vivo City for movie!

Watched : "Meet The Parents: Little Fockers"

It is the continuation of Part 1 and Part 2.

I only watched Part 2 which is Meet The Fockers.

Well, was laughing from the start till the end, a great start of my Christmas Eve!


After the movie, we shopped around and went to the rooftop.

Thank god that it isn't a rainy night.




Around 8 plus, he brought me to the Jewel Cable Car Ride.

Yes, this is my first experience in Singapore!

I have only ever rode a cable car at Genting.






The ride goes like this :

Sentosa -> Harborfront -> Mount Faber


Passed by great scenery which I managed to capture.


And we reached The Jewel Box!

*SUPER EXCITED*

As I always wanted to visit this place especially during this occasion.






It's 9pm and the "snow" show started.

Which is actually foam.


Look at how happy the children are, playing around in the "snow".


It is very hard to capture that moment hence I video recorded it.

That was easier and the "snow" was much more clearer.



Really thanks for bringing me to experience this lovely white Christmas!


After the "snow" show, there was a Live perfomance at the Deck.

There was a choir singing some christmas carols and I recorded some parts to share too.



Awhile later, we walked off to check the Jewel Christmas Lights at Sapphire.


See the bell in the left picture below?

Too bad the lights on the bell were malfunctioning at that moment.

As well as the lights for Singapore's tallest Xmas Tree. =(


So, back to the cable car for the return trip to Harborfront.

Headed to Plaza Singapura for dinner/supper (it was 10 plus).

Kok Seng recommended me this :

Right after the dinner, we walked to Orchard to enjoy the Lights.

(Since we were not able to finish it a few days ago)






Look at the amount of people!

Previously there were people spraying foam on others as a form of celebration.

But police considered it as rowdy behavior and banned it.

So there are a lot of them patrolling the areas although they cannot cover the whole Orchard Road.




Felt safe as we walked all the way to Tanglin Road.

The crowd stopped at Ion Mall.


This year, the Christmas lights came in three colours for different areas.

From Plaza Singapura (Purple) to Orchard (Blue) to Tanglin Road (Pink).


Reached home at around 2am and slept at 3 plus.

Christmas was today but I didn't go anywhere as it was raining heavily.
ANYWAY, IT'S PRESENT TIME!

A Hello Kitty's plushie and a Kitty's mug with a heart shaped handle.

From my lovely cousin, Wy.


Lastly, a Hello Kitty bling mouse from Kok Seng.

Super cute isn't it?

Don't worry, I will use it when I buy my pink lappy probably next year.

A So-Called Unlucky Day?

Met Kok Seng today at Plaza Singapura.

Lunch at Ichiban Sushi and caught "Let Me In" at The Cathay.


After that, when we were on our way from The Cathay to Orchard,

MY HEELS TORE.

How unlucky can it be, right?

As I can't walk anywhere, he went to Plaza Singapura to buy a new pair for me!

He purposely found a design to match my outfit. =)


Continued our journey.

But sad to say, after we took this picture, it started raining.

See, that's why I said today is a so-called unlucky day.


Therefore, we went to Marina Square instead.

He wanted to get something for his friends but nothing caught his eyes.

So time for our dinner first!

The portion was quite big for me so I couldn't finish the whole meal.

Took a few more pictures before we headed back.





A few more days to the actual day of Christmas.

I wonder this year how will I going to celebrate it.

Super Nudy Pink

After waiting for almost four months, my pink lens are finally here!

Super Nudy Pink :

First time wearing pink lens, will it look weird on me?


For these lens, they only have degree for nearsightedness.

However, my degree for astigmatism was quite high.

Therefore, when I wear them, the image will be quite blurry, especially at night.


But no matter what I will still wear it out!
